“When should one feel happy?
when you put the corn in the oven or when they start popping or when u get them in a bowl or actually when you put the first of them in your mouth?
Or, is it when someone somewhere sowed the corn seed many days before?”
This is what I had written 5 years back on my wall, and this was on my mind yesterday. And I realized that this question made a lot more sense now in my life.
Both happiness or sadness are result of series of connected events. We live a cumulative life, and not a discrete or disconnected life.
One who understands this connectedness of life – understands it better and creates a harmonious ecosystem for oneself, beloved ones and everybody.
Without this, one will just be a rebel with no existential or contributory value.
